I worked with Reid recently to set up an 'estate plan'. My family and other beneficiaries are out of state so my primary concern was to make sure in the event that something happens to me, there would be minimal issues for them which was my concern. He listened to me, my situation and provided a couple of options. Reid is patient, punctual to respond to any questions and does a great job of explaining the whole process and the pros and cons of any decision. If/when I have to make changes, I will go to him immediately.

We first met Reid when he led an Estate Planning seminar in our community. The presentation made us realize that our current plan did not accomplish all we had hoped for our children. Reid helped us establish a complete estate plan that will avoid probate and allow our assets to pass to our children as quickly and inexpensively in the least amount of time as possible. In addition, we created a Power of Attorney to provide protection should one or both of us become incapacitated before death as well as medical directives. Our children are thrilled that we have all this in place.

Reid gave an estate planning talk at the 55+ community where I live; where he was 1of a few. I moved to FL from NC; and I was so surprised to find how different the laws were. Reid took the time to put the legal jargon into layman’s terms; he was super accessible for appointments and questions; and really eased the anxiety that legal planning can cause. I shared with my neighbors that Compass Estate Law was who I chose, and that I was very satisfied with his work.

Reid Mann is a very intelligent trust & estate planner. Reid and his brilliant staff helped Rose and myself put together a health plan, power of attorney, and RoseMarie's home, which the deed is only listed with her name.
