I can not express enough how grateful I am for this facility. My son has been working with Alyssa (BT) and Cristina (BCBA) for a few months and the difference they have made in my son’s life has been so amazing! The two of them have shown us such passion in helping my son overcome regressions and everyday challenges. The improvement we have seen in him in just a few months is more than we could have hoped for. As a mom who was very unsure about ABA I can say my sons happiness and the support he gets from those two ladies ensures me I made the right decision.

As a parent seeking specialized services after my son aged out of Early Intervention, I was looking for a supportive and accommodating partner. Unfortunately, Compass ABA was neither. My complaint is on the following issues with the intake handled by Cassandra After I diligently submitted all required paperwork and insurance information, the intake process came to a sudden halt. I was told we could not proceed because I could not IMMEDIATELY commit to a fixed schedule of 10–20 hours per week (It’s important to note I was trying, I had put available hours during the week and on the weekend). However, because I could not commit to a schedule before my son was approved, discussed whether or not there would be copays, etc., your office would not move forward. Then the lack of professionalism and empathy; when I emailed Cassandra to express my genuine frustration with the difficulty and lack of accommodation for a working parent, she offered no apology, clarification, sample/suggested schedule, or other options/facilities. Instead, she chose to leave the email unanswered! The handling of this situation demonstrates a fundamental lack of client-centered focus. Demanding a fixed, high-hour commitment before even verifying coverage or approval shows a business prioritization that is not aligned with helping children with developmental and communication disorders and their families but rather profit. This initial impression showed me that Compass ABA is not a place I want to do business with, and I will be seeking services elsewhere. I would not recommend this provider to other parents.
