My husband and I recently visited Community Gold Buyers with some coin collections and silver pieces. We had been unsure of where to take these items for many years but opted to try Community Gold and Jewelry Buyers after reading great reviews. We were not disappointed. Jeremy was fantastic. He spent a lot of time reviewing our items all the while explaining and teaching us about the items and the process of evaluating them. He was upfront and honest. We were comfortable of the process and felt that we were well reciprocated for our items. Do NOT go to this place, at least if you're selling bullion. They offered me a complete LOWBALL price, one of their competitors informed me that for bullion, they should offer at least 90% of the market value. I was offered more like 75%-80%. The gentleman refused to even haggle on the price and pretty much dismissed me out of hand. They either don't know what they're doing, or they do know what they're doing and enjoy ripping people off, in addition to treating them with a condescending attitude. There are better places that will actually pay you what your gold is worth, save your time and go to one of those places, avoid this place.

This place never questions anything. My jewelry was stolen...I have receipts for my ex going about 15-20 seperate times. One week in particular he went 3 times to get cash for my stuff. They only care about money...never questioning the amount turned in whatsoever, nor taking note that it doesn't seem like the person is turning in items of their own. They could have alerted the cops that something seems off. And NO I don't want to hear "we run a business" what do you expect etc" if it was you, a relative, your mother you would feel exactly how I feel. This was a total of 5 months of him coming to you guys. You could've shown you are a "family run business" and care. You did not. I will never forget coming in...seeing items on your screen like my high school class ring, things my parents got me as a teenager...literally balling my eyes out. While you sat there whistling/humming Jeremy. If I could've sued your store I would have...cause that is what you deserve. I also love your statement of "oh we started turning him away" Really. I checked...he went to no other store than the new ken location. I'm not sure you ever turned him away.

I recommend this place to everyone looking to get the best price for your jewelry when selling it. I am passionate about customer service and these guys surpassed my expectations. He tested and categorized all of my jewelry right In front of me! Educated me on what I had and gave me a generous offer. Very pleased
