Communal is a dream location ! I loved my time there very much due to the incredible kindness of the staff and the home like atmosphere of the hotel from the decor to the location, everything exceeded my expectations. The Communal style of breakfast in the morning was so wonderful and I was able to chat with fascinating people from all over it is particularly Giorgi’s Care and concern for me and all of his other guests that really the stands out. What an absolutely wonderful human being he is I recommend a Communal With all of my heart

I was staying at the hotel with my 4-year old son. We really enjoyed it! The staff is very attentive and kind. The breakfasts are delicious and full of local high-quality, home-made products. The interior is well designed. The bathrooms are clean. The hotel has a convenient location in the old part of Tbilisi. I already stayed there twice and will come back. Thank you very much!

Had a truly lovely stay at this hotel! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and cordial — always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. To top it all off, the breakfast spread is fantastic — a wonderful variety with delicious options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. A great start to the day! Would definitely love to return. 😊

Communal has the potential to be better. First I will say George one of the hotel managers is lovely and very helpful which is why I didn't rate it lower. It's located in a quiet street so no street noise at night. That being said, while the hotel has an interesting aesthetic I don't think I would stay there again. There’s no service after 5 pm or before 8 am, so when we arrived at night the building was dark and empty- honestly quite creepy vibes. At departure (7 am), again no one around. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your own luggage up metal stairs which was something we were not prepared for. The room was too dimly lit, and we had a half window that was so high you couldn't look out and blocked by trees. The split ac in the room was struggling to work even though the weather was not that hot and made a lot of noise. The water shower pressure could have been much better too and would be screaming hot unless you held the shower in your hand. Also we would request extra towels and except for one time, they were not provided. Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming... If you eat late then expect stale chewy bread and bad coffee. Labneh and Turkish eggs were good though. For the price, this felt way below standard. Boutique style isn’t enough when basics like comfort, service, and amenities are lacking.

Nice hotel, comfortable and friendly staff. Good sized rooms. Great breakfast with good cook. Upstairs rooms don't have the best WiFi though. Nice restaurants 5-10 min walk away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Communal Hotel - the building is beautiful and the service was excellent. Delicious breakfast too. We would like to give a special thank you to George, who was very warm and welcoming and provided a transfer to Kazbhegi, complete with an introduction to the Georgian music scene.

Wonderful hotel, wish to stay there longer, cause we really enjoyed the time we spent there. The whole area is walkable and beautiful, terrace and its view is astonishing, also the hotel design is really great. As a bonus there was a really cuddly cat hanging around from time to time. 10/10

A beautiful, cozy hotel in a quiet part of the best neighborhood in Tbilisi. The rooms are modern, clean, and stylish. It feels like a home away from home. This should be the template for a boutique hotel.
