My husband and I wanted a custom couch and loveseat set to be made for our future, new home. The catch was, we needed this all done within three weeks as we were moving out-of-state to our newly built home and wanted the couches moved with us. Fernando and Baran said it was not a problem, they would make it happen. Our entire experience from picking out the style of couch, fabrics, details, etc. was very pleasant. Both Fernando and Baran were friendly, patient, very professional and efficient. Just wonderful people all around. We had our couches carefully delivered to us with a few days to spare before the moving van arrived. The couches themselves are very well made and exactly what we wanted.

LOVE my new sofa. Fernando could not have been more patient or helpful. I had very limiting measurements given an old house and narrow hallways and doorways, but he helped me find the perfect couch. Then he was very patient as I worked through every possible fabric to find the ideal choice. The couch came in perfectly customized, exactly as ordered, at a very reasonable price. I am so happy I went with Comfort Furniture Galleries instead of accepting some other option with limited fabric and style choices. Who knew you could get a totally custom couch at such reasonable prices made right here in California. I am delighted!!!

My husband and I recently came to Comfort Furniture Galleries to order a sofa system for a second home that we own in Cambria and our experience and final could not have been better. Fernando greeted us and over the next several hours patiently listened to our needs and shared his honest expertise with us as we looked over different possibilities which are absolutely endless! One can customize anything in any way! Fernando is extremely knowledgeable in his field and personable as well. His follow-up communication with us since we had a time restriction in order to pick up the finished system and trailer it up to the central coast was attentive and perfect. And the finished system is high quality, beautiful, and well-manufactured. I highly recommend Fernando and Comfort Furniture Gallery for the outstanding professional background, quality products, patient advice, and exceptional customer service! Truly a delightful experience!

I waited for 6 months to write this as I wanted to see how the couch I purchased at Comfort Furniture Gallery held up after its initial honeymoon period. And I can now say the quality, particularly in foam inserts and material is average, especially for the price I paid. Customer service is mixed. When my initial order didn't come through as ordered I got a revealing look at Baran, whose presales personality is distinctly different than after the sale. Fernando is the one to turn too if there is an issue and even though we clashed quite a bit I did see a genuine desire to get things right. Both are very knowledgeable and the store had lots of options to inform and help buyers decide.

We purchased a sectional couch from Baran 8 years ago. It is in perfect shape still and is very comfortable. A year ago, Baran helped me order another sectional for a different room in our house. We love the look and the durability of its fabric (kids, dogs etc) but it isn’t as comfortable as the first sofa we had. I mentioned this to Baran and she asked me to bring in all the cushions and she had her factory replace the down wrap with a newer, softer filler and we are thrilled! We just purchased two swivel chairs for our living room and can’t wait til they arrive. Btw shipping time for custom ordered furniture from Comfort Furniture is about 4-6 weeks while West Elm and Crate and Barrel are closer to 4 months right now.

So far my husband and I have purchased 3 couches, 4 chairs, 2 ottomans, and 1 headboard/bed frame from Comfort Furniture. We still use the first couches we bought 13 years ago- they have held up really well and are very comfy. My recent purchases for our bedroom are unique and beautiful. I love that we can customize to our specifications. This furniture is a great value for what you get.

Baran is absolutely such a pleasure to work with! She is professional, she cares and she has amazing style. Baran really listens and understand your vision and helps it come to life. I’ve been working with her on decorating my home for the past couple of months and bit by bit things are coming together and it looks fabulous! Baran helped me make fantastic choices of the furniture that we ordered the best fits our needs. I’m so happy I’ve met her and walked into this store.

I studied Interior Design and worked for Interior design firm. I decided to give a business to Baran for a sectional sofa. Baran is not professional at all, please please don’t go with her. We ordered a sectional for almost $7000 , after a month we received the sectional totally different with whatever we ordered (it was all deformed and each of the cushions were in different sizes) , I called her and she started arguing with me. I sent her pictures , after a month she decided to come to our house to see what’s wrong with the sectional, long story short she asked us to pay $750 to send them back to factory to make the cushions even!!!!!! We even paid that money, Again after a month they brought them back with same exact problem. Now when we called she ignored and pass is to Fernando, Fernando was very rude and direspectful to us he wasn’t helpful at all. My husband left review on google and yelp this is what Baran texted me“ how dare you go on Yelp and trash a busines u didn’t do anything with ?! “ this is what she texted me after spending $7000 and not getting a sofa we ordered. She sales under name of queen Baran Design but when any peoblem comes up she pass it to Fernando under “Cmfort Furniture Gallery“ and she doesn’t take any responsibility for her job. If anyone wants I can send you the pictures of the first day of my new sectional and now after a year all cusions got more deformed and thy got small which the frame is way bigger than cushions.

We had a really bad experience. We enter to this furniture store with my husband to buy a furniture. The lady she was on the phone , which later on we understood she is a manager.her name is baran . She is introducing her self as an interior designer, and trying to give her ideas instate of listening to you ! Thanks god we did not buy any furniture here , but she is so rude ! When my husband googled her name inside the California interior design website nothing came up ! This means she doesn’t have a license as an interior designer. How people are trusting her work I don’t have any idea !

We had the worst experience with this store. From the designer (Baran) to the owner of the store Fernando, both have terrible customer service. I couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional they were when we came a cross with the issues. We ordered a custom built sofa with them and Baran “ the designer “ came up with some prints on scratch paper to show us the look of the sofa. We were agreed on what we ordered and what she showed us, but the problem started when the sofa was delivered to our house. An ugly and uneven cushions that looked like it’s been used for years!!! I called Baran and explained the situation, she started yelling and talking so rude that we ordered it the same way! I couldn’t tolerate her unprofessional attitude and asked to speak with the owner of the store Fernando. He seemed like wanted to help but he end up acting the same as his employee as well! Make the story short, after sending the sofa back to their store 2 different times to repair and even paying extra for the work we got nothing but an ugly sofa in our house with spending nearly $7000 I would not recommend this store and it’s rude and unprofessional workers at all. This company has nothing to offer to help and solves the issues of its customers. I wish we could have gone to a known brand store which every penny worth to spend on their products.
