We went there to see the place about boarding our two dogs. We were the only customers when we went and the lady at the counter was apparently not very busy. When we walked in, she barely raised her hand in acknowledgment of our presence and didn’t say a word. We had to initiate the conversation. Talk about a warm and inviting welcome!
We asked to tour the place and see the kennels. The lady informed us that they do not give tours and that they do not show the kennels to customers. More red flags. Instead, she got out a large cardboard collage type book, similar to what you made in elementary school, to show us pictures.
We have been to many dog boarding places and all of them more than willing to give tours and show their facilities.
We turned right around and walked out.
This is to address the owners response. Yes, I said "we" because if you did have cameras, you would have seen my wife was in the car.
We arrived during your business hours. I went in first because we had one of our dogs in the car with us and we wanted to see if we could bring our dog in for an introduction and to tour the facility with us. I saw nothing on your website about having to call first just to see the place. None of the other places we visited that day required a tour reservation or advanced phone call and all were completely friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to show us around their facilities with our dog.
Yes, I had a black jacket on, but I was actually wearing blue pants.
Yes it was dark out. Not really my fault. You might want to add more lighting to your facility.
You might want to check your footage again as well. I was there all of 2 or 3 minutes. I did and said absolutely nothing to warrant such judgement. I just asked questions and asked to see the kennels. Something any loving dog owner would do.
Instead of blaming prospective customers, you might want to take some responsibility.
By the way, saying that you believe I had "other intentions" with no facts or proof to back up such a statement is slander.
You can guarantee that I will never be back. How poor and how disappointing!
