My fur babies boarded at this facility 6 yrs ago and when we walked in this last week they immediately knew where they were & were comfortable. In my opinion pets have more freedom of opinions than their owners and when you have bad vibes you pass those along. They came home Sunday happy and healthy with no sulking All the staff knew my pets personality and explained in detail how they did during their boarding but honestly the pets told me more when they returned home The boarding is for them not you trust them

We have taken our lab several times here ! He seems to like the girls that work with him . It’s an easy process, you make the appointment, their drop off times are in the morning and pick up between 4 and 6. Pm. They are always friendly . I understand why they have rules about drop off and pick up times . So they don’t have to many in their lobby .and I know he is safe there .

We went there to see the place about boarding our two dogs. We were the only customers when we went and the lady at the counter was apparently not very busy. When we walked in, she barely raised her hand in acknowledgment of our presence and didn’t say a word. We had to initiate the conversation. Talk about a warm and inviting welcome! We asked to tour the place and see the kennels. The lady informed us that they do not give tours and that they do not show the kennels to customers. More red flags. Instead, she got out a large cardboard collage type book, similar to what you made in elementary school, to show us pictures. We have been to many dog boarding places and all of them more than willing to give tours and show their facilities. We turned right around and walked out. This is to address the owners response. Yes, I said "we" because if you did have cameras, you would have seen my wife was in the car. We arrived during your business hours. I went in first because we had one of our dogs in the car with us and we wanted to see if we could bring our dog in for an introduction and to tour the facility with us. I saw nothing on your website about having to call first just to see the place. None of the other places we visited that day required a tour reservation or advanced phone call and all were completely friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to show us around their facilities with our dog. Yes, I had a black jacket on, but I was actually wearing blue pants. Yes it was dark out. Not really my fault. You might want to add more lighting to your facility. You might want to check your footage again as well. I was there all of 2 or 3 minutes. I did and said absolutely nothing to warrant such judgement. I just asked questions and asked to see the kennels. Something any loving dog owner would do. Instead of blaming prospective customers, you might want to take some responsibility. By the way, saying that you believe I had "other intentions" with no facts or proof to back up such a statement is slander. You can guarantee that I will never be back. How poor and how disappointing!

EDIT: Y'all... the owner of this business called me today and literally tried to convince me that my sweet boy is a hazard to my family, and to reconsider my negative review of this business. To be clear, he's been boarded at their facility when my family has traveled for THREE YEARS and we've received nothing but accolades for his sweetness and behavior from this business. I've raised this pup since he was a starving baby and he has known nothing but love and kindness since coming to my home. He has been around countless small children and smaller animals and has shown ZERO signs of aggression. This is discrimination and prejudice from this business's owners without a doubt. Brought my two sweet pups here for three years only to be denied service because they changed their policy and now discriminate breeds. The staff called me to cancel my reservation because they had an incident where a pitty attacked a cat. What kind of pet boarding establishment allows dogs near cats in the first place?

Our dog Ranger is so excited to come here! I love the staff and they are really sweet to our dog. Caring, professional, and the facility is clean. They have even been able to bathe and trim tonails for Ranger (who doesn't normally like this type of attention). 😊 He comes home calm, happy, with a normal appetite and sleepy from the excitement.

It was amazing to find a boarding kennel place while I had to be gone for my dad's funeral. If you are looking for a great place to take care of your dog or dogs while you are gone this is the place. My dog loved it here and was well taken care of. I will be using them for now on while I am having to go somewhere for a long weekend or a period of time away.

Had a great experience boarding my dog here! I was very anxious about it and they were more than happy to give me an updated when I called. Corey especially did a great job, she checked us in and out and was super comforting anytime I wanted to check on my dog. I would not hesitate to board my dog here again!!

We have been taking our dogs here for a few months when we go out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. Making reservations is easy because of their website. We have been very pleased with the care our dogs have received.

The owners, Drew and Natalie are absolutely amazing. Their professionalism, trustworthiness, and caring demeanor is something that is hard to come by in this day in age. I have left my animals with them for extended periods of time and and all I can say is WOW! They are so well taken care of, happy, and look absolutely amazing. I would trust them with my grandma even! Lol! But seriously, Columbia River Kennels is a state of the art facility and you will not find somewhere even remotely comparable to the service and care you will be getting from Columbia River Kennels.

Second time boarding our dog - the first time was with another local kennel that we had a bad experience with so we were very hesitant but I heard about Columbia River Kennels from a colleague who highly recommended them. Super happy with our service! Loved the option to add a bath and extra play time.
