0 stars would be more fitting. Hopefully I can save someone from wasting their money on an investment consultation. I am sure they will counter this post as an unhappy customer because we disagreed with their advice. We are unhappy customers because the lack of analysis, insight, research, questions asked, and over all competence in the matter. We paid $1k for "expert advice" and received complete amateurism. Her entire analysis (and what I assume must be their "proprietary trade secret"....ha) was just taking EBITDA and dividing it by the investment amount followed up by what was maybe a 5 minute google search of competition in the area. She did not review any of the other documents that were shared, didnt ask questions about our growth projections, didnt even do a basic DCF or IRR calc. It would be laughable if we hadnt paid upfront for this service. After the call clearly went sideways, she offered to review the files and take into account our discussion to reevaluate her opinion. Instead of following up with us, she had her assistant reach out to set another time. I didnt want to waste yet another hour of my time so asked that we level set the expectations at which point, we were ghosted. Funny thing is that we were really looking for a CPA to help us with the entity formation and handle the ongoing bookkeeping and tax filings. So the silver lining is that we at least dodged that bullet and were able to find a competent firm

I have been a happy customer for almost a three-year period, and working with Colorado Business CPA has been nothing short of great. Being a new business owner is not always easy, so I'm glad I have Natalya and her team on my side. Her office is filled with friendly, supportive, and most importantly, professional people. Thank you, Colorado CPA, for your knowledge in tax preparation and for helping me manage my small business.
