Social Anxiety Groups Fall 2020
We will be offering our Social Anxiety Group program this fall. This program is designed to help Adolescents and Young Adults boost their comfort, confidence, and competence, and reduce anxiety, in social and public situations. The group uses CBT strategies to help participants gain a better understanding of social anxiety, challenge worry thoughts experienced in social situations, enhance conversational and assertiveness skills, and face their fears with practice of these skills in different real-life activities. We will be running two groups, one for High School students ages 12-18 years (4-5:30 pm), and one for Young Adults ages 19-24 years (5:45 pm-7:15 pm). Both groups meet weekly on Wednesdays for 12 weeks starting October 7th (virtual).
