We had a couple’s massage at Coastal Vedam Massage Spa, and while there were some hiccups, the quality of the massage made it a worthwhile experience. If you’re looking for a great deep tissue massage, ask for Rose—her pressure was just right, and the stretches were exactly what I needed to loosen tight muscles. For a more relaxing, medium-to-light pressure massage, Jinki is an excellent choice.
That said, a few things could be improved. First, be cautious with some online reviews—they may not always be genuine. I’ve heard that therapists could receive incentives when their names are mentioned in reviews, so take those with a grain of salt.
Also, for foreigners, note that this spa (like most places in Raipur) doesn’t accept international credit cards—only cash or local cards. I wish this had been mentioned online beforehand. We booked our appointment online, but we weren’t allowed to pay through the website, and when we got there, the price was higher than expected.
The massage room itself was a bit disappointing—it was in a basement-like area with no windows or proper ventilation, just an electric fan. The air conditioning was off, and the space felt a bit musky, which could make you feel stuffy after a while.
However, despite these issues, the massage itself was excellent. Rose’s skill made all the difference, and I walked out feeling completely relaxed and tension-free. With better transparency, improved facilities, and more payment options, this spa could easily become a go-to spot. For now, if you’re okay with the quirks, the massages are definitely worth it!
