The staff is so amazing from the receptionist to Doctor Arthur's himself and all staff in between. They are so kind, understanding, and caring. They are genuine. The first interaction left me a little concerned because the Doctor primarily discussed everything with my spouse vice me, I mentioned this and he quickly changed his interaction focus to me. I believe the first interaction was primarily due to the fact that my spouse would be providing the at home care and to make sure he understood everything. I highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Arthur's and his staff to anyone how has to recieve wound care, they are amazing.

Dr. Arthurs made me feel very comfortable and I was ease sharing my concerns with him. I valued his expertise and he put my mind at ease. I have a serious condition, but he was able to explain it in a way that let me know I can still do everything that brings joy to my life. He is simply the best, you are in good hands with Dr. Arthurs.

I made a first appointment to have spider veins removal. I received a phone call the same day of the appointment to cancel. I made a second appointment and saw a vascular doctor. I was told they will call me to set up a time, I had to call them. The appointment was set for today, 02/20 to have the procedure. I check the doctor portal, it shows 10:00 a.m. I enter the office, was asked to sign release forms and sat down. At 10:35 a.m., no one had called me. I asked the desk clerk. She didn't seem to know where my chart was, went in the back and came back telling me my appointment was at 9:00 a.m. and that they will not see me. I showed their portal with the 10:00 a.m. slot, but they told me I was wrong. I will never go back to the Coastal vascular vein center. They never apologize either for me waiting 35 minutes for nothing. Poor service

I am a board-certified Neurosurgeon and minimally invasive spine specialist practicing here in Charleston, SC. I have been in this community since 2002. I am writing this review to provide patients with a professional assessment of Dr. Arthurs technical abilities and patient care. It might not be obvious to most patients, but sometimes surgeons from different specialties must work together to perform complex spinal surgeries. In the case of anterior lumbar spinal surgery, a spine surgeon will often need a vascular surgeon to perform the initial part of the surgery which provides access to the front of the spine. This is extremely delicate work and involves mobilizing the largest and most important blood vessels in the body. I have worked with many vascular surgeons over the years and, truth be told, they were all good…..otherwise I would have never worked with them. So how do I separate the good ones from the great ones?......its how they handle themselves in the most challenging situations. I think of it like a great pilot or the captain of a large ship – the weather is not always going to be perfect, but the great ones make it look easy even under the most adverse conditions. Dr. Arthurs is one of the greats and I have seen it with my own eyes. He is always meticulous and detail oriented. In the operating room, he is an incredible surgeon, and is technically gifted. The patients have seen improved outcomes as a result of his attention to detail. We have shared many patients both in the OR and in the clinic. I always get positive feedback from the patients that we have shared. After meeting with Dr. Arthurs they leave feeling assured that they are in talented and caring hands. I would not hesitate for even a second if I needed to send a family member to Dr. Arthurs. He would be my top choice all day long and without reservation!

The staff are extremely friendly, professional and knowdgeable. I had an issue getting a copy of an ultrasound that was needed prior to my appointment ( ordered by outside physician) the coastal vascular staff assisted me with that process. The office staff coordinated with the nurse and they resolved the issue. I appreciated the communication thru phone call as well as e mail. They are a A plus act! The doctor was personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely highly recommended this group.

I've dealt with a lot of clinics both on the provider and the customer aspects and I give Coastal Vascular & Vein Center superior rating starting with Dr William Ashwander and down to all the assistants, technicians, and clerks. They work as a good team as any but complemented with their staff's professionalism and sense of good humor. Thanks to all of you all that made me feel welcome and safe!

Everyone is polite and friendly. It's clean and the waiting time is never long. I can only speak about my doctor. I trust him, I believe he has my best interest at heart. He's very personable which I think is hard to find because we're all so busy. I highly recommend this business. Thanks

They were on time with my appointment. Everyone was kind, considerate, very compassionate, and explained everything about my condition in a manner that was understandable to me.
