Spring and summer bring lots of baby wildlife — and sometimes they look like they need help when they actually don’t!
Before intervening, keep these tips in mind:
* Observe from a distance. Many wild parents leave their young alone for long periods.
* Don’t feed or touch. Improper food or handling can do more harm than good.
* Leave them where you found them. Unless the animal is injured or in danger, it’s usually best to let nature do its thing.
