I recently inspected a caravan from Coast to Country and was extremely disappointed with the condition. The caravan had been fitted with modified suspension components, but there was no mod plate to certify the changes, which is a huge red flag for safety and legal compliance. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the suspension components had been cut and rewelded, which raises serious concerns about its stability and durability.
Additionally, the frame had been poorly welded together, with weirdly painted, black sections of chassis. It appeared as though the caravan may have been involved in some kind of accident, though the seller refused to disclose any information regarding this. This lack of transparency and the obvious signs of damage make it clear that this caravan is not in the condition it should be, and I would strongly advise against purchasing from this seller.
If you’re looking for a caravan that is safe and properly maintained, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
