This very nice Boardroom clock came to us for repair some months ago, it had fell off a wall bracket it was on, the clock is very large and heavy so sustained a lot of damage, also the last time it had been serviced was back in 1989, the movement was in bad shape most of the parts had to be hand made, We also replaced all 3 mainsprings the clock movement is a triple fusee movement & still has its original fusee chains, the clock itself stands over 2ft & it has a hand painted moon dial, it chimes on 7 bells & strikes on a gong it dates c1840 & is a very impressive clock, it took over 18 hours spread over months to get it right, unfortunately some of the work done over the years by other clockmakers (DEBATABLE) was not the best & this had to be corrected & we were given the time to get this right, the clock is now ready to go home.
