This c1920 wall clock has been Serviced & the case polished it will now spend about 4 days without the dial on in order for us to check out any issues that arise, then the dial will be refitted along with the hands then further tested for 7 days, then if all is well it will sent home with a clear bill of health this is the only way we do restoration, all in all you can expect your clock to be with us around 12 weeks a lot longer if parts are hard to find & we are unable to make them, we call the customer as quickly as we can in order to give an estimate but the it has to be left to us, we don’t take every repair we get offered this is because of our space & also more importantly we like to give our full attention to the jobs in our workshops at that time, the way we see it often these old clocks have worked happily for many years we strive to keep the clock running probably for many generations to come, this level of Service takes time & attention to detail so this is no quick process, We are only able to comfortably handle 8 Restoration jobs a month that’s the reason we have a booking system which works well & insures all our customers get the best levels of service.
