A c1980 Great Wheel Skeleton Clock Built By My Grandson Aaron Who Has Joined Us As an apprentice, He is only 17 years old & Shows Great Potential for the Future of Clockmaking & Antique Clock Restoration, The Clock was Designed By Malcome J Wild, They come in kit form But do Need a lot of work to get them to the finished stage, This kit had been stored for 40 years , Every Component was Cleaned & Hand Polished, The hands although Finished had to be reblued, The Main spring has been removed from its Barrel Cleaned & Refitted Using a Mainspring Winder, all pivots polished & Burnished Etc, All good Practice for the Future. The Glass Dome is Victorian c1850, The Domes Supplied are Plastic & to me have a Fish tank Look to Them the true Victorian Glass Dome Has a much better & Traditional Look. Although more Expensive a richer superior look a definite future Antique,
