C1930 Westminster chime mantal Clock made by Smiths England, this is not a valuable clock but as is often the case it holds sentimental value & was Presented to the Customers Grandfather , we did replace the the dial as the old one was in very poor condition, the movement has been completly dismantled & 2 of the 3 main springs replaced, the rest was all sympathetic ie case clean wax & polish, its very important that older clocks are not over restored the key is for the clock to be in good condition but still have that feel of age, i buy Clocks & im very suspicious of clocks that have been over restored, over restoration unless done to the highest standards by a professional reduces the value of the Antique
