Just a few pictures of another fine triple fusee bracket clock probably dated 1800, the clock is of the very best quality being of heavy construction & having some what we would say in the horological world complications!! this meaning its not just a timepiece the clock plays Whittington or Westminster on the quarters & strikes on the hour, you can choose from the clock striking on gongs or its 7 bells, the case is hand carved in solid oak the dial is brass with silvered chapter rings with solid brass corner spandrels, Clocks made today or in the last 60 years for that matter simply can not compare to this craftmanship in fact clocks today simply have not been near a clockmaker mass produced with the manufacturers recommendation of replacing the movement ??? the clock movement in this clock will with a service from time to time last for hundreds of years & most parts can be made, we certainly can make 90% of the parts needed for Antique clocks of this quality & as was said to me many years ago by an old clockmaker there are no bad Antique clocks just some are better than others. for us we run a customer orientated business not a profit driven pass the book company with old fashioned values & second to none customer service putting our many customers first last & always. We will be adding more pictures of the completed job & featuring the clock on our YouTube channel.
