This is a Grandfather Clock movement c1790, it’s in a sorry state & has many problems, the movement will be completely dismantled then cleaned by hand then repairs will be done as at the moment the movement is to dirty to see how bad things are but there are some very obvious things, the good thing about Older Clocks is you can make many of the parts if needed, this particular Clock has been in the Same Family for over 150 years so has great Sentimental Value, most Clocks that come to our Workshops now are often part of our customers Childhood memories.
