This Is The Lassell Grandfather Clock Movement now completed, it will be left on test for a week or so to make sure its running as it should, striking & keeping good time, it will be regulated if need be, A lot of work has been done including 4 x barrel bushes all made from raw materials this is including new arbours made from 6mm tool steel, 2 pivots also made from Brass then finished by hand, all this can be expected for a clock thats around 270 years old most parts need to be made for Antique clocks as you simple can not buy them We are lucky to have the tools to do this kind of work some of them Antiques & Nearly As Rare as this Clock all in all i am pleased with the results its now ready for many more years of good service
