A very nice example of a clock made by c1900 Seth Thomas USA it strikes on a bell & has an alarm function with an 8 day movement the case has a wood vaneer , they where named steeple clocks for obvious reasons, the clock dial is behind an opening door with a glass panel with some reverse art work which in this example is very good, this is not always the case as many of these clocks have not aged very well, they where very cheaply made
