A very nice Ships style clock, we service repair many of these clocks, many of them where made by the smith's clock making company c1950, they are usually presented on a wooden back board, this one has the red center seconds hand, the customer complaint is erratic time keeping, it's been to another repair shop recently but the customer is unhappy with them? It's on test we have made some adjustments & all seems well but we feel the clock should be completely striped down cleaned & serviced, we will also completely strip down the platform escapment as problems with this will certainly cause erratic timekeeping
