At Clock Repairs Merseyside every clock brought to us is as important as the next one, & all our many customers equally so, we do our repairs in order of date brought to our workshops, at this moment of writing our turn round is approximately 8 weeks but this obviously depends on the work needed & we always advise as more often than not if parts are needed they may need to be made or sourced as there are simple no parts available for Antique clocks. Because our job books get full pretty quickly we have a booking system & if its the type of clock we are confident of a successful repair or restoration we will book it in then call you to let & ask you to bring your treasured clock to us for restoration, we have found this to be a great system & gives us the time to spend with the customer when we meet finding out a bit about the clock & showcasing our humble & traditional clockmaking workshops. All clocks are dismantled & we look through the movement methodically taking pictures & making notes this takes time because you need to get this right due to the nature of clock movements most jobs require you to dismantle the movement completely to do any repairs or restoration so its a good idea to get it right 1st time. So in conclusion things are ready when they are ready & running as they should after testing for a minimum of 2 weeks after the repairs if they don't & develop problems this will be rectified & tested again until its right
