This very nice Smiths Empire time only clock has come in for repair, the customer reported that it has been losing about 10 mins a day no fault was found so the customer has decided to have the clock serviced this is probably all this clock needs, it has been chrome plated & is in the style of a ships clock, its probable c1950, they sometimes have a Swiss movement made by Buren, either way they are good quality & the overall condition of this 1 is excellent. We will publish a few picks of the striped down movement a before & after, the movement will be completely dismantled cleaned & any work that needs doing will be done before final reassemble, it will then be tested for a minimum of 8 days & regulated if necessary to get the best time keeping results, we can also do this electronically but we still like to see how the clock preforms in an everyday situation.
