This is the very fine Frodsham & Baker chronometer on test, Frodsham & Baker were both fine chronometer makers in London around the 1840s they were in partnership for a breif period & made some very fine chronometers this being a good example, it is weight driven & has a mercury pendulum to regulate it, it also has a Graham dead beat escapement, this escapement was invented by George Graham' who was apprenticed to the great Thomas Tompion, he then later married Tompions niece Elizabeth Tompion,
