This very attractive wall clock with a vaneered walnut case was sold by ourselves nearly 3 years ago, it come to us for a routine oil service & is ready to go home, it dates c1900 & has an american movement that strikes on the hour it was retailed in Wakefeild by J TAYLOR & is in fantastic condition with very few blemishes considering its age a very attractive clock. clocks in this condition are becoming few & far between. We have tried to do some research on the name J TAYLOR WAKEFIELD, the only thing we can find that fits in with the age of this clock which we are certain is a Rev J Taylor WAKEFIELD, this may be a possibility as it's very nicely finished in walnut veneer , clocks where sometimes gifted to the church by retailers, they where always very well crafted as well as functional, maybe someone could drop me a line John on 07900600073 I would be interested to know.
