This is a Smiths c 1950s Westminster chime Mantal Clock, it came to me for restoration as it had not worked for decades, after completly stripping the movement, it has been run through the ultrasonic cleaning machine using a
a homebrew sensitive metal cleaning solution, it has been reasembled & im fitting 2 new springs as its origonal springs where in a sorry state, it will then be put back in its case after setting up the chime & strike & finally tested & Regulated, this clock is not old by any means but it holds great sentimental value to our customer, i have as always resored it to a high standard so it should run for another 50 years or so.
