Late Review ✨
A month before my wedding, I went for a facial treatment and told the doctor I was a bride. I also mentioned that I live abroad, had less time for everything, and due to a lot of travel, I had lost the natural glow of my skin. They asked if I had done any facial treatments before, and I told them yes, a chemical peel, which had worked well on my face. They then suggested a Hydrafacial, IV for glow, and a chemical peel at the end.
The Hydrafacial and IV worked well initially, but the peel completely damaged my skin ,it peaked during my wedding function dates, leaving my face red, dry, and peeling badly. The doctor had said it would be fine before my wedding, but it wasn’t. It took three months for my skin to return to normal.
When I went for my second IV session, I showed my peeling face to the staff , he looked at it and had no answer. They also gave me a cream worth ₹11,000, which only made it worse. It’s been six months, and the cream is still lying there unused.
My makeup artist was shocked seeing my face ,she had to apply layers of moisturizer because my skin was red, dry, and burning.
Brides, please avoid chemical peels before your wedding. Such treatments should be done at least six months in advance.
I’ll add a picture of my face if I find one.
