My husband and I were traveling thru Pennsylvania on our way back from our east coast adventure. By mid October a lot of RV parks are closed for the season. Fortunately for us Clayton RV Park was still answering the phone. This resort is secluded and quiet on a picturesque lake. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room were all immaculate and furnished with shampoo, and body wash. I have NEVER experienced this before. The owners, a husband and wife team were so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this park to everyone and hope that I am able to come back again and stay for awhile. I have been to many RV parks in the last couple years. I would without question rate Clayton Park a 10/10.

You would think you escaped to the mountains hours outside of any civilization. Tranquil and peaceful. Staff is great. Facilities are clean. Weekly live music, games, and an amazing swimming pool make for an awesome experience for all ages.

Made an overnight stop off the interstate. Had a perfect pull thru the worked perfectly for our 43 class A towing. Did not have to unhook car. We'll kept, peaceful, quite, lake setting gated. A little far off the interstate and don't know anything about things to do in the area, but would definitely come back. Very peaceful!

This is a very nice, clean, and quiet park. My wife and I stayed one night in our camper. The bathrooms were immaculate & the showers were clean and hot. The overnight pull through sites are set up a little wonky and are very close together. I felt bad making a fire in our fire pit because it was only about 3 feet from our neighbors camper and the smoke was going right in his window. I also wish that there was some type of grate for the purposes of cooking on the open fire. (Fritz & Robin 8/26)

Our experience at Clayton RV Escape was excellent. We visited many campgrounds, and were astounded at the cleanliness, decor, and care of the grounds. Live entertainment on Saturday evening, excellent heated pool, easy lake access with boat rentals. Very quiet, very peaceful, very clean. Our hosts were easy to reach, and obviously committed to ensuring our stay was pleasant. We will certainly be back. Sites available for small trailers to large class A. Picnic tables, chairs, fire pit, and usual hookups.

The owners are about the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, right on a beautiful lake.

I couldn’t wait to give this review, we have been traveling around the country try for the past month, on our way back to Massachusetts, we decided on one last night in the van and a fire. We have not made many reservations along our trip, it’s off season where we were traveling so it was easy to find a place. I decided to head straight for the RV park, it is located not far off the highway, and very quiet. I pulled up to the gate and pressed the call button, a very nice woman answered the call and seemed surprise. I mentioned that we are just off the road and looking for a spot. She hesitated and said yes. We met her husband who showed us to our spot on the water, he was very nice and we chatted for a bit, I then realized they were closed for the season but opened for us. I was so taken back at their hospitality that’s why I could not wait to make this review. The spot was perfect right on the lake, power and a fire pit, he offered us a crate full of firewood, and asked if there was anything we needed. I walked around the beautiful grounds with perfect camping spots on the lake. The lake was full of geese and herin. The next morning we met at the front gate, thanked him for the amazing hospitality. I will be back here again and I recommend anyone traveling through or spend some time here, you can’t go wrong.

We have been traveling many years throughout the US and this is the nicest RV park we have encountered. Sites are nice and level. We had a lovely patio. The shower was amazing!

This was a last minute booking for us on a cross country trip for 3 months. What a find. Simple stunning. Beautiful spot. Clean, well stocked store, lake front, amazing bathrooms, new laundry facilities, super friendly staff can’t wait to return someday. Great place to walk dogs.

We have been full timing for 5 years now and I have to say that this is one of the best parks we have ever ever been at. I cannot say enough good about this park. The managers and all the staff are such sweet people. I have never seen manager working so hard from sun up to sun down seven days a week. The entire park is immaculate! All the staff always have a smile on their face. The store is well stocked and u can even take your pet in for a treat. My husband would sit outside under the tree and fall asleep it was that quiet and relaxing. Even when there were children around. The activities are plentiful from pot lucks to Saturday music from various musicians. Grab ur chair and just go sit by the lake and listen. Thank you so very much Sonja and Maurice for everything you do to make this park beautiful and enjoyable. If we are ever back we will definitely be calling you to book a site.
