My dog Onyx loves going to doggy daycare at Clawington of Madison. He’s a Siberian husky and German Shepard mix. He attends twice a week and has so many dog friends and his socialization skills have improved tremendously. Everyone says they love him there! He’s only 8 months old but has been going since he was 3 months. We also have boarded him here on a few occasions and they are great with him. Highly recommended sending your dog here.

BEWARE OF THE RUDE STAFF! I moved here on a Friday and had to board my dog overnight to go south and get the last load of furniture. At first, they were polite when establishing business and care, spending tons of money on their mandatory vaccines that other vets don’t require just to board a dog (Like a flu shot for a dog)… A few days later was a whole different story when it comes to the politeness. I had to board my dog and followed their tedious process of “booking” a reservation online. I booked the reservation, paid their mandatory $60 deposit, and brought my dog in. As soon as I walked in, a staff member came around the corner with a smirk on her face and laughed as she said I had to wait on a confirmation by email of my booking. I asked how long that would take because I had to hit the road to leave town. Her response was “a while”. (my dog was just boarded there a few days before). She said she had several others ahead of me for boarding (there was no one in the lobby). I said I didn’t have time to sit around and wait for “a while” for an email, and I had paid the deposit. They refused to refund the $60 deposit (even though I hadn’t received her “confirmation email”), and refused to go ahead and take my dog for boarding. They refused the service as I was the only one standing in the lobby & refused a refund for a booking that she hadn’t even “confirmed”. Providing service to the only person in your lobby seems like the professional thing to do, but who am I to know after working with the public for 17 years? Do yourself a favor and check local vets before using Clawington.

My Standard Poodle has gone for grooming at Clawington twice now. The groomer Nicole is outstanding! She listens to my requests and gets my boy looking great. Having tried to groom him myself, I really don't see how she does it -- she must use magic! The prices are reasonable, and I'm very satisfied with our service there. Nicole stays booked up pretty far out, so be prepared for that. Daycare also is great at Clawington, and all the employees I've interacted with have been so nice and welcoming. I'm so glad we've started going there!

We have been taking our dog to Clawington for grooming for years now. They have always done a great job. They listen to what you want and need. They always go above and beyond. My dog looks forward to having his bath at Clawington.

Our dog has been going to daycare at Clawington for over a year. She absolutely loves it there, is very well looked after, and safe. It gives us peace of mind to know she's so happy and is having such a great time! Cannot say enough about Beth and Melanie at the front desk -- they're absolutely wonderful!

Clawington of Madison is the RIGHT daycare for my unique Pitbull mix, Hugo. He’s a combination of rambunctious & easily overstimulated, anxious, fearful & slow to acclimate, & a snuggle bug. The daycare staff have a special ability to understand him & work with him. They have gone above & beyond in reducing his anxiety & helping him to succeed in socializing & playing well with others, with their adaptive play sessions, & their knowledge of dog behavior & training. The front desk staff know every little detail about Hugo’s needs & are always on top of everything. They greet us every day with a smile & are always willing to go the extra mile for special requests. Above all, each & every one of the staff is very loving & supportive. How did Hugo get so lucky? I’m forever grateful! Felicia Prince is my Hugo’s hero. VP of Operations & resident dog whisperer, she is a dedicated professional with a keen, innate sense of dog behavior & a selfless desire to help. She is gentle & loving, while firm & guiding; calm, consistent, fearless & compassionate; respectful & understanding. She sets a high standard for herself & her staff. I have full confidence in her abilities & peace of mind in leaving my Hugo in her care every day. I deeply appreciate her invaluable support & guidance. ❤️

ETA We now have a sweet dog and he has been to doggie daycare a few times. We love the staff and how great they are with him! What a great place to have near home. Today I had an appointment to get my little tuxedo’s claws trimmed. We walked in and were greeted by Mercedes. She is so friendly and perfect for the front desk! Trey came out and gave me a cute photo holder in the shape of a bone. Thank you! Josh then took Cinder (the aforementioned tuxedo) to trim her claws and was done in about 5 minutes. Very professional! Oh! The new lobby is beautiful! 😍 Highly recommend. 👍🏼

So thankful for Nicole! She and the vet staff at AHCC do a sedated groom on my reactive pup. He’s part Lhasa Apso and has to have a regular shave because his hair grows like crazy. Nicole does a wonderful job and has so much patience with him. Grooming is his biggest fear, and she goes above and beyond to take care of him help him stay as calm as possible.
