BEWARE OF THE RUDE STAFF! I moved here on a Friday and had to board my dog overnight to go south and get the last load of furniture. At first, they were polite when establishing business and care, spending tons of money on their mandatory vaccines that other vets don’t require just to board a dog (Like a flu shot for a dog)… A few days later was a whole different story when it comes to the politeness. I had to board my dog and followed their tedious process of “booking” a reservation online. I booked the reservation, paid their mandatory $60 deposit, and brought my dog in. As soon as I walked in, a staff member came around the corner with a smirk on her face and laughed as she said I had to wait on a confirmation by email of my booking. I asked how long that would take because I had to hit the road to leave town. Her response was “a while”. (my dog was just boarded there a few days before). She said she had several others ahead of me for boarding (there was no one in the lobby). I said I didn’t have time to sit around and wait for “a while” for an email, and I had paid the deposit. They refused to refund the $60 deposit (even though I hadn’t received her “confirmation email”), and refused to go ahead and take my dog for boarding. They refused the service as I was the only one standing in the lobby & refused a refund for a booking that she hadn’t even “confirmed”. Providing service to the only person in your lobby seems like the professional thing to do, but who am I to know after working with the public for 17 years? Do yourself a favor and check local vets before using Clawington.
