Letting agents were quizzed by the Scottish Association of Landlords recently about how their businesses were faring in the current economic climate.
Sixty-seven agents were asked the same questions as a survey in December 2023 and some of the key findings were:
• 8.4% of properties they managed had been withdrawn from the private rented sector in 2024
• The average time to find suitable tenants for properties was 15 days (up from 11 days in December 2023)
• Each property had an average of 27 enquiries (down from 47 in December 2023)
