Cisco Diesel Repair

Cisco is a remarkable business! We were westbound on I-20 and a semi truck lost a huge mudflap that we could not avoid. The mudflap tore the engine cover underneath our car such that it hung beneath our car, scrapping the highway. We pulled off the hwy and pulled into Cisco Diesel Repair. Two gentlemen (Jessie and Neil) got the car onto the lift, and quickly removed the part. That alone made my day… BUT WAIT! They quickly inspected the entire underside of the car, used zip ties to secure anything that might become a problem and made sure all was road-ready. They worked quickly and were polite and genuinely kind. At no point did they make me feel like an idiot (which I sometimes am 🤪). There are moments when life brings you to the doorstep of kindness, and your faith in humanity is restored. Bless you, Jessie and Neil). Great guys! We stopped cuz we hit something on the road, ripped our bottom engine cover! They lift the car up, took the torn part away, sent us back on our way and didn’t charge us a thing! Great people! 🙂

We were on our way back to Arizona when my uncle had a blow out, we pulled up to this shop and were told at first glance that they had nothing that could fix a flat tire by two men working out front, We had to go get help from another shop and when coming back to the car; a worker by the name of José saw us in front of the shop and came out with all the tools needed to get off the blown out tire and replace it with a our spare free of charge. I can’t say if every worker here has the same work ethnic as this young man but my family is beyond grateful and appreciative. Thank you josé.

I broke down in Eastland today. I was pulling a track loader to Abilene when one of the springs broke, ruining my tire. These guys came out, diagnosed the problem, got the parts and fixed it up. Nothing negative to say about them. Cost? Well, it was fair in my mind. They had to go to Abilene to get the parts. I’d highly recommend them. GOOD JOB! September 24, 2022 I am updating this review because of what I learned today. Cisco Diesel Repair shows my total bill on the receipt as one thing BUT charged an extra 3.5% to our card. Guys, I understand credit card use surcharges but you guys never discussed that, never mentioned that the day of the repair that I remember. Your invoice/receipt given to me does not refer to an extra 3.5% surcharge if paid by credit card. So, I'm very disappointed. You probably need to update your invoices and your customers need to understand the hidden fees you charge.

Called them about replacing a busted coolant line in my Peterbilt. Their road guy was already out on a service call and came to me after he got done. Great friendly people and fairly priced. I definitely recommend them.

Great shop! Broke down Sunday night, with trailer, they opened the yard to secure my truck and trailer. Got to troubleshooting when they opened Monday morning, they took super care of me, fixed the problem, had good mechanics and parts, done, paid a reasonable bill and I’m back on the road. They did NOT rob me, they did great work at a fair price and fixed what was wrong, nothing else. Highly recommended. Can’t say enough good about good treatment.

Jessie was there for us when no one else was. Our rig was broke down on I-20 about 30min from him and he told us what to do to get it to him. His exact words were “limp it to me and I’ll look at it” and he did more than that plus he stopped what he was doing to help. We needed new injectors and him and his crew did amazing and for a great price. Our truck runs like a dream now. They were and are EXCEPTIONAL! If you ever need a diesel mechanic those are the guys to go see. Thank you Jessie!

Truck was running poorly. Was told about cisco diesel shop. Limped in told manager truck was running poorly. Got me right in and found fuel filter clogged. Ordered part for me had me gone in 2 hours. Great price great folks highly recommend this shop.
