I’ve been to a lot of auto shops over the years, but this one truly stands out. The team here is incredibly transparent. Steve and Ryan will walk you through everything they’re doing and never make you feel pressured or confused. I really appreciate how they take the time to explain the issues in a way that actually makes sense, whether you know cars or not. They’re also extremely thorough and detail-oriented, checking things I wouldn’t even think to ask about and making sure my car is genuinely safe and running well before I leave. You can tell they care about doing things the right way, not just the quick way. Overall, it’s rare to find an auto shop that is this honest, patient, and committed to quality work. I always leave feeling confident and taken care of. Highly recommend!

These guys have a real down-to-earth vibe and come off as honest and looking out for your best interest. But look behind the facade and you’ll discover some very slick salesmen with high margins to meet. Notice that they’ll rarely let you get out of their shop for under $2k, even if you’re just coming in for an oil change and have a car that’s up-to-date on service. After years of falling for their tricks I realized that they actually damaged my car because there was nothing wrong with it and then acted like they discovered a “new” sudden issue. After talking to other past clients of theirs, I found out this has happened to more than just myself. Beware of Chucks Auto.

The essentials of a good life include a good doctor, good dentist, good friends, and good mechanics. Ryan, Steve, and the skilled professionals at Chuck's in Shoreline keep my 2011 Toyota Camry in excellent running condition toward my goal of at least 200,000 miles (currently about 134,000). Their good work also provides assurance that I can drive safely on my long cross-country road trips.

As always, Ryan and the team treated me with a very high level of integrity, and honest quality work. I really think this is a place I can recommend to anybody, even someone as picky and demanding as me. 5 STARS.

Chuck’s in Shoreline is AMAZING. I am so impressed with them. It’s so hard to find an auto shop you really trust. I feel so lucky to have come upon them. They will diagnose issues that you may have trouble with in the future and prioritize the work that needs to be done and when. That is so helpful to be able to prepare for any issues. Also you don’t feel like you are pressured to fix anything you may not need right away. Ryan and Steve are so personable and kept me updated while my car was in the garage. I will never go anywhere else in Seattle area. Check them out.

The guys at shoreline Chucks have been extremely helpful in making sure myself and other family members are driving well maintained vehicles. They go above and beyond sometimes and have always treated me with respect and kindness. I highly recommend this shop. Overdue write up, sorry guys. Ryan, Mark and team are amazing in my opinion. Needed a whole front end suspension job done on an older car. Just didn't feel like crawling on my garage floor to do it myself. We worked out what I think was a fair solution. Mark's an amazing mechanic with all the experience.
