I live here at Christian Village going on 10 years. Take a look at the Community Garden in the back. Christian Village is an excellent campus. Christian Village has a very good neighborhood for Senior. See you soon. Christian village was owned by Christian organization which sold out to a corporation. Corporations. What this means is more cement less flowers and trees. But I still give Christian village five stars for right now. We'll see what happens down the road here. PS the community garden is gone. PS the coordinator is gone. I'm dropping a star.

My grandma lived here for a short while before she passed away. This place was the WORST place she had ever lived. She was ill and stayed in the hospital for a short while and then went back to her apartment at Christian Village on hospice and eventually passed in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends. Christian Village has regular independent living apartment homes. On the day of her death, one of the managers called my mom and rudely said “I heard that your mom just passed and we weren’t even notified or aware that she was living here again. And now we are just getting word that she died. We should have been notified that she was living here again and out of the hospital.” My mom replied in saying that she was busy tending to/spending time with her mom in her end stages of life and she was unaware it was necessary to notify them that her mom was staying in her own apartment that she had already paid rent for. The manager then stated, rudely, that she would be coming up to talk with my mom. This was all the manager said, no condolences, just hours after my grandmother had passed. I met the manager at the door with my brother to discuss what she felt she needed to say on the day of my grandmothers death(in my opinion, nothing about what she wanted to discuss was necessary or imminent to speak of at that time). She just went over their policies and said that she should have been made aware of my grandmothers condition, etc. She also said she really needed to speak to my mother. My brother and I kindly told her no, that it wasn’t the time nor was it the place to do such a thing. We told her the only thing she should have said to our mom today was how sorry she was for our loss. We stated how rude and unprofessional she was to my mom and how we would really just appreciate some space to grieve. My mom was already beside herself and all this manager did was upset our mom even more by being rude and hateful. The coroners hadn’t even made it to pick up her body and this lady was up there trying to hackle my mom about their policies. I really can’t stress how important it is not to recommend this place to ANYONE. It was an absolute nightmare. I have no idea how any business would conduct theirselves in such a disrespectful manner. I would give this place 0 Stars if I could. By the way, this is my first ever negative review and I review places all the time. I try to find the best out of each business, compliment on the best aspects of my experience, and spread joy. I honestly could not find anything good to say about Christian Village. I felt it was important others needed to know our experience when considering Christian Village as a future home. Think twice before living there or having love ones live there!

If you're a man don't come there's nothing to do. There are no activities for men. They're more concerned about keeping the grass watered. The gossip is brutal
