Chocolate House Paterson

Chocolate House is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves rich, indulgent desserts and creative drinks. The menu offers a great variety, from chocolate-covered treats and waffles to specialty hot chocolates and refreshing milkshakes. CH is absolutely worth the stop. It’s one of the best dessert spots in town!

Guys, you think you know chocolate? You don’t. I have a formal diagnosis of Chocolate Dependence and I have had chocolate desserts from the streets of India to the Dubai Mall and the swanky restaurants of London and New York. And I can truthfully say the preparations from Chocolate House ( better named House of Chocolate) beats the pants off the rest of the field. The shake is top notch ice cream melted to the right degree. After a breakup this should be the intervention of choice. Just tried the crepes. Again , nothing like it in the rest of New Jersey. IHOP is ISAT in comparison. I mean, don’t go to Paterson to order it. The actual restaurant is, let’s say, very Eastern in ambience and a perfect fit for those who like noise and macho Eastern men who might have stepped off the sets of a remake of ‘ Lawrence of Arabia’ but for the rest of us there is UberEats. Even after the daylight robbery by Apple Pay which could double the price enjoy it in the comfort of your home. And here’s the pièce de résistance; it is available even at the stroke of the midnight hour.

The whole staff when my girlfriend and I visited on this Monday were super nice and quick with our order and they never cease to amaze us with the quality. We will continue to come back time and time again. If you are also looking to sit and enjoy your shake this same establishment has a lounge next door connected to the chocolate house where you can hang out

We got Dubai chocolate and house special crepes and it was super delicious. Staff is super nice. Service is great. Highly recommended!!

I came to visit from North Carolina and kept hearing great things about this sweet spot, so I had to try it out to satisfy my cravings. The Lotus waffle stick and iced coffee were absolutely on point. So unique and different from anything I’ve tasted before. On top of that, the service was top tier. Definitely worth the visit and will be back again!! Thank you Malik and Riphi for the wonderful experience!

The dessert here is impeccable, I have absolutely zero complaints about that, however something in the back of head still bites me to this day about this place. Back when this place was still new in 2021 I remember coming after a long day of working, I came here with a buddy to reward ourselves with a nice milkshake, it was packed that night because it was Ramadan, but we didn’t mind we waited patiently until I was next online, the cashier who i’m pretty sure is one of the owners thought I was poor and said, “just give me what you got” because I paid in change, I was genuinely overwhelmed during the moment, I had more then the said amount but to kinda put me out like that was kinda rude, not only that but he took a while to make my shake, I saw other customers behind me get there bigger orders before me. I just kinda felt they felt bad and left me on the side. And for that type of behavior I’m giving this place a 1 star. I genuinely hope things have changed and staff are trained to not be so quick to judge.

Hey Everyone, Prices showing on the Menu are different than the ones on the counter as you can see in 📷 the picture. So pay attention on what you're getting charged 🤔 at cashier. I hope they change it soon, OR it will be considered as scam by definition..........🫛 🫛!! okay

This is the best place I’ve ever visited in Paterson to get shakes and desserts! The workers are very nice and chill, and Reese’s shake is amazing! Their desserts are always freshly made! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I had a wonderful experience at Chocolate House in Paterson. The workers were very friendly and welcoming, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you have a sweet tooth!

The crepes are amazing, very delicious and not too sweet. The order preparation and waiting is fast even if they have several customers. The place has a cute decoration and definitely we will go back again, the flavor is wonderful.
