Chip's Garage Door Repair

Got a positive experience with Chip’s garage door services. Ready to go to work in the morning, can’t open the garage door. Found out that torsion spring is broken. Called Chip’s, Nolan showed up after 10am. Repair is done in 40 minutes. Knowledgeable and friendly guy.

Great and efficient! Came to take a look at it and fixed the garage door the same day. Chip had the time to explain what was wrong, how everything worked and even brought some hot chocolate! Would definitely recommend for anyone having issues with the garage door.

The spring on our garage door broke, trapping my wife’s vehicle inside the garage. I did a Google search for repair companies and found Chip’s Garage Door Repair online with a 5 Star rating. I am always a little skeptical about perfect ratings like that, but gave Chip a call anyway, and he came out the next morning arriving right on time. I explained the situation to Chip and then he did an inspection of our garage door. Chip is very knowledgeable, and based on the answers I gave him to a series of questions he asked, he offered me a number of options. There was no pressure to up sell more services or work. We agreed on a course of action and he had my garage door repaired in under 40 minutes, which is now running smoother and quieter. Great service. Provided all the options for fixing my old garage door and we ultimately decided to upgrade to a new door with better insulation and quality hardware (hinges and tracks). Quality install, and the team took their time to make sure everything was done perfectly.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this one’s deserved. from the first call everything was smooth and easy, no pressure at all and the pricing felt really fair. the tech was super knowledgeable and took the time to explain things properly, you could tell he really knew his stuff. a friend recommended them and they still managed to exceed my expectations. honestly rare to have an experience this good, great team all around.

Chip and King were great to deal with. They were professional and prompt with responding to any of my questions and scheduled the installation of the new door very quickly. They ran through everything thoroughly and the final work looks great ! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Hands down the best garage door repair service in Calgary! My garage door had issues and needed to replace the spring and some other general repair (squeaky wheels etc). Chip’s were referred to me by my friend and making an appointment was super easy via the number on their website. I received all the updates regarding my appointments via text and it even told me the name / photo of the serviceman who’ll be arriving (which I found really cool). Nolan was a really nice guy to talk to and he explained everything that needed to be fixed. The cost justified the quick and awesome service provided. Everything was done within an hour. 10/10 would recommend.

We had been having ongoing issues with our garage doors that prevented us from parking indoors. With the weather getting colder, we wanted to get them fixed as soon as possible. It worked out perfectly that we could schedule the appointment on Thanksgiving Monday with no additional holiday charges. Incredible service! I had an emergency garage door failure and called them at 9pm. They were at my house at 8am the next day and had it all fixed the following day. Great communication and their software is very state of the art. Chip was awesome when he came to assess and Nolan was a great technician when the repair was being done. I highly recommend them!
