CHIPFIX - Stone Benchtop Repairs

I would highly recommend Kelly. Her response to our query was prompt as was her visit to our place in the Shoalhaven. We had tried a fix before with someone else 10 yrs ago which was woeful, and hesitated before contacting Chipfix. However the quality of Kelly’s work was professional and superb. I would definitely use her again.

I hired Len from a Stone Cutters search, no recommendation, just happen to select him and I am so very pleased I did. The job was to enlarge an existing hole to fit replacement cooktop on a stone bench top. A very high tolerance task and requiring ‘specialist’ equipment to cut cleanly. Len is a Master craftsman and cut the new dimensions perfectly and as smooth a cut as you could hope for. The replacement cook top fits perfectly and only looks this way because of Lens workmanship. When I visited the Apartment 2 days later it was spotless, like he was never there. Len is a perfectionist and his prices are very acceptable indeed and I fully recommend him. What an awful feeling it is when you chip your new kitchen bench. Dealing with CHIPFIX is the exact opposite of that feeling. Kelly did an amazing job and you really cant see the repair at all. All done in a very friendly and professional manner.

Needed around 5mm taken off to fit a new cooktop and Karn did a fantastic job. The cut edge was very clean (front edge, much better than the original builders). Care was taken to get the measurements right, triple checking cooktop dimensions and confirming it fits after cutting. Very diligent and thorough. It was also a very clean job. No dust at all, nothing reaching the oven directly beneath the cooktop hole (once again upstaging the original builders who relied on professional cleaners to remove the dust, I guess this is the difference wet cutting makes).

Unfortunately I tried to get a quote from chipfix for a Caeserstone crack repair, sent them a a email and sms with photos as they requested from me. But they never bothered to get back to me sadly. I’ll be letting Caeserstone know as they were the ones that recommended them.

We had our kitchen for 6 years and recently cracks started appearing at the seams. It made my eye twitch. It was annoying and impossible to clean. Len made magic happen and fixed not just cracks but my mental health as well 😃 I highly recommend Len, he will make your bench top look brand new.

I certainly made the correct decision in contacting Len at ChipFix to restore my damaged Caesarstone window sill. He was very prompt with supplying a quote & then booking me in for a repair time. Len told me it was the largest ‘chip’ (really a chunk) he had been engaged to repair. He briefly explained the process to me & I hoped he could meet the challenge of restoring such significant damage to the window sill. After 3 hours of Len applying his craft & weaving his magic, he had restored the Caesarstone to its former glory. The result was perfection …… it was like the damage was all a bad dream & had never really happened. I’m one very happy customer due to Len’s incredible craftsmanship.
