TLDR. I would strongly recommend against using this company. I had a tech come out (two hours early, which is fine because I was there, even though I was not planning on being around at that time), without any representation from Chimcare (no branded truck, shirt, etc) and clean my fireplace insert today. He left a big mess (soot everywhere), left a black scratch in my newly finished hardwood floors, didn't bring paper towel to do the cleaning (borrowed a whole roll, and my trash can) and didn't explain what was done. I tried calling the branch after (3pm local time), and the lady is surrounded by squealing roosters (I have a strong feeling she was in South Asia, and it was morning time) and was very blatantly distracted; so much so, she couldn't answer questions. She had the tech call me back and I missed that call (was repeatedly marked as spam as it was a Massachusetts number). When I called that number back, it went to voicemail, saying no one is there, but that "Chimney Services" is not available (not Chimcare). So, I imagine my tech was a third-party hire out. We later connected and he told me my stainless-steel insert was not cleaned to the roof as it is not required. But this is a key selling point on their website, for the $300 cleaning I paid for. I should also mention that my chimney is being deemed "unsafe" for use until I have them do a $3000 repair, which was an immediate sell by this salesman who was extremely pushy and did not let me ask questions without interruptions.

We noticed some loose bricks on our chimney and needed a rebuild. They came over the weekend and took care of it fast. The new crown looks solid and no more worries about leaks. The guy was friendly and kept me in the loop the whole time. Really glad we got it done before winter, everything feels safe now. Would recommend if your chimney needs work!
