I love this dentist. Our kids love it too. They said they make them feel so comfortable and explain everything to them. I definitely recommend. At first I wasn't sure cause we can't go back with them but the kids are happy and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and dentist there.

If you have a nonverbal or high-needs autistic child, this office was not a good fit for us. My daughter becomes visibly distressed as soon as she sees the building. This office uses a papoose board, which restrains a child’s arms, legs, and head. No pre-appointment medication options were offered to help reduce anxiety or distress. At a prior visit, my daughter left with bruises. Because she is nonverbal and cannot explain what happened, I asked at our most recent appointment if I could either observe the restraint process or have the board brought out so I could understand how it was being used and ensure she was not being handled roughly. I felt this was a reasonable accommodation given her disability. The office declined both requests and stated that allowing me back would require allowing all parents back. They then referred my daughter out to another dentist. What was most concerning to me was that no one was willing to clearly reassure me that my daughter would be treated gently and respectfully, despite her being nonverbal and having prior injuries. I hope this information helps other parents of special-needs children make an informed decision. UPDATE: I changed my review from two stars to four stars because they did not give me the visit I would have liked for my daughter, they were able to quickly send a referral to Centers for Pediatric Dental Sedation within the same day after leaving, I was able to get an appointment booked for two weeks out. When they referred me daughter out, they gave referrals to Franklin dental and childrens dental center, but I had to mention specifically that I wanted a referral for sedation.
