When your backflow preventer has a leak, it's trying to tell you something! If your smoke detector was sounding an alarm, would you investigate it, or would you remove the batteries? All too often out in the field, we find the answer is to "plug" the problem. This RP was "modified" with a piece of plexiglass to block the relief from spilling onto the floor.
