Cheval Whiskey Bar

Came here for our gathering Their signature prawn ball standard was not disappointing it's our must order( usually asked for a second round) We ordered the herbal roasted rack of lamb and it was complimentable, it was flavourful, the meat was tender, the rack is a section of ribs with the loin meat attached and the fats around the rib bones been trimmed so it's not oily and maintained herbal fragranced. Slow braised beef chunks was also tasty and the meat was juicy and succulent with meats just fall-off the bone. Overall foods are nice and it's not too noisy inside the bistro and there's also al-fresco seats available outside the unit and there's also a small whisky bar next door belongs to them if you preferred to have  dimmer lights ambience and cozier place to chat. Car park and accessibility for wheelchair is not an issue.

Super noisy. If this hidden bar has any good thing, it should be quiet. HOWEVER, inside noisy, outside noisy. Cigarette smoke comes, it's too close to the shop. And it is facing to pet shop, Not thinking anything. Worst.

Some customers are shouting around 11PM at night for a good 10-20 minutes and there are residents living in Kensington Square, but the restaurant staffs never bothered. Not all customers are kings. Super noisy.

Had a nice crisp Prosecco to start. Prawn balls have a crunchy veg inside, I liked but wife not so. Wagyu burger and pork belly were both very good. A little pricy but a nice little spot that wasn't too busy.

After renovation, something change, worse. No meaning to come here anymore. Why you need to come this bar all the way? TBH, disappointed.

Poor whisky bar when there are plenty in the cbd. Go to the single cask or quaich bar instead.
