I have gone to Chesterfield Valley Nursery for all of my plant and landscape needs year round for years now! From annuals and succulents to pumpkins, gourds and Christmas trees they have it! I always find a pot or planter I must have and a new plant to put in it. My 1 year old son and I often visit just to look and enjoy the scenery and beautiful atmosphere. Their selection and set up is always absolutely gorgeous no matter the season or weather! Every interaction and experience has been beyond helpful and pleasant and exceeded any expectation I could have! Counting down the days till Spring to see what they have to offer this year! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CVN

I visited Chesterfield Valley Nursery for the first time last week. I went looking for a Castle Wall Blue Holly. Lauren was an amazing guide and helper! She recommended I look at some different shrubs that would grow better in our shady front yard. Lauren showed me several options and even took into account our budget restraints. We have our new shrubs planted and love the way they look! The shrubs were a bit more expensive than some other nurseries, but the quality of the merchandise is excellent. They not only have an incredible variety of plants to choose from, but also knowledgeable and trustworthy employees to aid their customers! I highly recommend them. They are worth the drive.

Do not give your money to this place! The owner yelled and screamed at my husband for parking on the grass to be closer to the area he needed to be. I don’t know who she thinks she is, but certainly not important to us. He’s never been there before and there were no signs stating where to park/ not park. Honestly there’s no excuse, a grown woman should know how to communicate properly that the car needed to be moved without yelling. Seriously? You just look stupid and miserable when you behave that way. So definitely a Karen or Debra or Ruth as another review stated. We were going to spend a lot of money to redo all of our landscaping but will give our money elsewhere. Are you guys proud of yourselves?

Wow! Go there! Super competitive in pricing and steller customer service. Fantastic plant selection, making it worth the drive. As a bonus they will help load your car and provide paper lining to protect your car! Check them out!

Our second amazing experience with Chesterfield Valley Nursery! Our situation included a neighbor building a 6 bay garage up to our property line and in direct line of site with a pond that we enjoy in the morning for coffee and evenings for sunsets. Jim came out and understood our challenges and proposed a design using 9' Green Giants, which are fast growers and will come together to form the perfect background to our pond experience. Dirt, Trees and Mulch and voila, amazing natural fix to our unnatural problem. Thanks to Jim and his amazing crew for another great design and project. Awesome customer experience!

We recently completed a major backyard transformation following the installation of our pool, and hiring Chesterfield Valley Nursery was hands down one of the best decisions we made. We had never worked with them before, but after this experience, they are our go-to for all future landscaping needs. From the very first consultation, Colten Graves, Landscape Designer & Irrigation Supervisor, exceeded every expectation. Chesterfield Valley Nursery’s mission speaks to quality, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence, and Colten truly embodies all of those values. He treated our project as if it were his own backyard, taking incredible pride in every detail and decision. That level of care is rare, and we noticed it every step of the way. We had multiple priorities: privacy landscaping on both sides of our yard, drainage correction behind the pool (which previously turned into a mini river during heavy rains), and creating a cohesive, finished look to complement the pool and hardscape. Colten not only delivered on all of that, he elevated the entire vision beyond what we imagined. What stood out most was his consistency, communication, and presence. Colten was on-site every day, multiple times a day. He always communicated clearly and in advance, which, in our experience with other contractors, is a rarity. When he said the crew would arrive at a certain time, they did. Every single day. That reliability built immediate trust. The crew, under Colten’s direction, was also incredibly respectful and meticulous. One moment that stood out: a team member removed his boots before crossing over our white coping on the new steps to avoid leaving any mud or dirt marks. That level of thoughtfulness floored us. We’ve never seen that from any other contractor or crew. The entire experience felt like a true white-glove service from start to finish. Colten’s knowledge is unmatched. He understands plantings, trees, drainage, rock placement, grading, and design with complete mastery. We were never in doubt. He listened carefully to our goals, offered expert guidance, and delivered something truly beautiful. Yes, Chesterfield Valley Nursery is a premium service and their pricing reflects that, but so does the quality of work and experience. We firmly believe we got every dollar’s worth and more. The end result is not just landscaping. It is a transformation of space and feeling. It is now a place we’re proud to share with family and friends. We’ll be calling Colten again next year for our front yard and we’re recommending him to everyone we know. I truly hope Chesterfield Valley Nursery’s leadership team recognizes what a talented, dedicated professional they have in Colten. He’s the kind of person who represents not just their brand, but their core values, to the highest standard. If you’re thinking about a landscaping project, whether it’s one tree or a full-scale backyard renovation, call Chesterfield Valley Nursery and ask for Colten Graves. You will not be disappointed. — A truly grateful customer, Erica Wood

In 2023 this company was performing work and their Bobcat damaged my property. Their response was "Don't worry, we'll fix it." Kind of misses the point that they should've got a survey before the work was performed to know where the property line was. I had my property torn up for months. On multiple occasions, including most recent November 2024 I've contacted them to tell them to stay off my property and they continue. They've blown leaves in my yard multiple times and left them. My update to company response- Please be honest with your response. I called you before the work began on November 25 to alert you of past problems, how your crew was getting ready to start work and I didn't want them on my property to avoid this situation from occurring. Maureen said she would have a supervisor reach out to the crew. Clearly there was a communication breakdown because it didn't stop them from doing what I had asked not to be done. I called again and spoke to Jennifer and Amy. This is not just blowing leaves in my yard. This is your employees physically getting in my yard to blow them further into my yard after you already blew them in my yard, putting your tools in my front yard, and walking down the hill in my backyard which any reasonable person could clearly identify as my property. If you can't perform the job safely without the need to trespass, maybe you shouldn't be doing the work. Your response didn't address the first part of my initial post re: damage to my yard last year. In addition to the damage you caused at that time, you also had your worker perform an unsafe act going downhill on a Bobcat in wet conditions resulting in it fishtailing and almost hitting my house (and yes I did contact you regarding that event as well).

Had a sloped, bare backyard and they created a lovely, private oasis! Working with Josh was such a pleasure! He was knowledgable, timely, hard working and relatable. So happy we used them! Update 10/24 - had some plants added and again, Josh went above and beyond. Customer service like the old days!! Highly recommend, our backyard is fab!
