Chapman Emergency Dental Care

I had a great experience at the Chapman Clinic. I had been dealing with significant tooth pain for about a month, thinking it might be related to a previous wisdom tooth removal. We contacted several oral surgeons, but everyone was fully booked, which was extremely frustrating while being in that much pain. We found that Chapman Clinic accepts emergency visits, which felt like our last hope because I knew I couldn’t go another week without finding out what was actually causing the pain. It turned out the issue was a previously retreated tooth, which surprised us. They diagnosed it quickly and were able to help right away. The doctor performed a very thorough cold test on each tooth to make sure he identified the exact tooth causing the problem before recommending a root canal. I really appreciated that level of care because it ensured the correct tooth would be treated. He was patient, easy to talk to, and made me feel relaxed during the visit. The staff was also incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. Even though the clinic is almost an hour away from me, I would absolutely return if I ever need another root canal. Clinics like this truly deserve far more recognition. The level of care, honesty, and professionalism here is rare, and I genuinely believe more people should know about this place. If you are dealing with dental pain and need someone you can trust, this clinic is truly outstanding and deserves every bit of praise it can get.

Chapman Dental had been my dentist for several years, but between my husband passing, COVID and cancer, time got away from me between cleanings. I called to schedule a cleaning and learned they were now an emergency dentist now, but not to worry, they would take care of me. I arrived in time for my appointment and was seated in the chair, after first paying a $200 consultation fee to be applied to my visit. Dr. Chapman came in and sat down. He told me how great his business was doing since he moved to emergency care. After about 15 minutes, he looked inside my mouth with a mirror for less than a minute. He said I needed X-rays, and once they were completed he'd be back. A full set of Xrays (18) were taken. By 2pm, a full hour had passed and I needed to go. The tech asked if I would please wait another 5 minutes and another dentist came in to look at the Xrays. After 5 minutes I left and scheduled another appointment for the following week. I was told I had a balance if $20, but it would be applied to my next visit. Later that day I got a phone call stating I needed a deep cleaning at a cost of over $350 per quadrant and they would do 2 quadrant at a time. Since I am not able to do that at this time I canceled my appointment. I was reminded that I still owed $20. My plan was to drive out the following week and pay them in cash, but before I could I received an invoice for $140. Not the $20 I was told twice that I still owed. The additional $120 was for a comprehensive dental exam by the second dentist who NEVER LOOKED IN MY MOUTH. I sent a check for the $20 and a letter ox explanation. Today I got a call telling me I walked out without paying for the comprehensive dental exam and if I didn't pay they would turn me over to a collections agency. If you have an emergency, be prepared to pay because they seem to think they can charge for anything they want, including services that never took place. And now they are accusing me of skipping out and not paying my bill at the time of service. They are now slandering my reputation, accusing me of "pushing past the front desk", when I actually stopped to make an additional appointment because I couldn't stay longer due to a previous plan. I always liked these folks, but something major has changed. The Comprehensive Dental Exam they are trying to charge me for, never took place. I looked at the ADA definition of a comprehensive dental exam, and it was never performed.

I would give them 1000🌟's, if possible. Needed root canal, referral made and root canal completed 2 days later. Treated with such kindness and respect by all staff members. Dr. Chapman took time to explain procedure, provided options and sang Phil Collins to help soothe my anxiety. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had a rough situation to say the least, a VERY hard extraction. Never even herd of these people but they were the only ones that could take me in at last second notice. Really glad that nobody was available and I had to go here. Can't say it was a great experience as I was having a tooth removed but it was far better than I could have hoped for with anyone else. The staff was amazing I could tell they actually cared about me. Every single person I talked to was friendly and helpful from the owner to the receptionist I liked everyone of them. I can not recommend these people enough. If you need emergency work done, do yourself a favor and call the folks at Chapman's, you won't regret it. 10 out of 10

If you’re looking for a dentist who truly listens and genuinely cares, Dr. Chapman is fantastic. After learning at another practice that I had an infection, I went to Chapman Emergency Dental, and they took care of me immediately. I was extremely nervous going in, but the entire team was so welcoming, calm, and attentive that I felt supported from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, were incredibly kind and made the whole procedure feel easy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dental team that goes above and beyond.

Magnificent office! Very specialized problems require very specialized treatments! Doctor and staff are truly amazing! Very compassionate, patient, and skilled! I am feeling so much better! Thank you so much! And Dr Chapman’s singing gets a standing ovation from me! While I was waiting I was scared the music was covering up the screams! ;) but actually it was only his backup bands ! Brooke and Leslie are so kind! Very family oriented and they obviously treasure all humans! Thanks again!

What a great experience! I was so glad to be able to get service same day as I called! Very solid work from Dr Chapman and his staff. It made the experience easy as I knew I was in good hands. It was so nice to be able to get wonderful professional help that ended with no more pain to my teeth. Thank you once again to Dr Chapman and his assistant for getting me taken care of! Dr. Chapman is truly the best of the best. If you’re looking for a dentist who is honest, fair, and will even put your well-being ahead of his own benefit, this is the place. I went in feeling paranoid about some tooth pain—I was convinced it was about to get really bad. Dr. Chapman examined me, reassured me there was nothing of concern, and I left with all my worries completely gone. The other young male doctor , the dental assistant, and the people working the front were all incredible. All around great experience!

**** I’d like to update my review. I still stand by the dentist and the back staff but the front office and scheduling definitely need to be taught how to treat patients. As someone who owns their own healthcare business I understand how stressful and hard it can be to deal with angry patients all day but it does not give you the right to mistreat any patient you speak with. I called to reschedule my appointment because I was sick and the office manager told me it was my second time rescheduling so I could not make another appointment and I would have to call back for a same day appointment. I tried to explain to her that I never rescheduled an appt prior to this one but she was rude, yelling at me and would not let me explain myself which was extremely frustrating. I actually came into the office for the second time for a temporary filling that came out but when I arrived they said I was there for the second part of my root canal. I explained I was not told that and I did not have the time to stay so I made it for another day. It was the front desk that made that error. I was told that the medication they put in my tooth needed to be in there for at least a month and this appt was only 2 weeks after and the temporary filling came out so I thought they were just going to fix it and be done. The office manager then told me she would be writing up the scheduling person that did this and proceeded to hang up on me. I have never in my life been treated so horribly from any office. She eventually called back to reschedule me but there was no apology or anything. I will not be stepping foot back into that office because I feel so uncomfortable. It’s really sad. I’m an anxious dental person and I thought I finally found a great dentist but the staff definitely ruined that for me. I paid for two separate visits so I’m not sure how that will be handled but I definitely won’t be calling the office ever again. I’m a very anxious person when it comes to seeing a dentist so it’s important to me that people are understanding. Dr Chapman was wonderful. They took their time explaining everything very clearly and did an excellent job relieving my pain. I am so appreciative and I absolutely loved them. Singing the BeeGees and seeing your dog walk around really made me feel so at home and less anxious. You guys ROCK!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I accidentally knocked out a tooth right before the weekend and didn’t know where to go. This clinic welcomed me right away, and I instantly felt at ease. Dr. Alex was so friendly and supportive — we even joked a little, which really helped me relax in such a stressful moment. Miriam, his assistant, speaks Russian and Ukrainian, and thanks to her I felt completely comfortable, almost like being at home. The whole team has such a warm, caring atmosphere. I left not only with my tooth fixed, but also feeling genuinely supported. Highly recommend this clinic!
