Chaparral Winds Independent Living

Hi. Our Mom has lived in Independent Living for 12 years. There have been a lot of changes over the years, but she has always loved living at Chaparral Winds. She loves her spacious Apt and the community. She’s made many friends and everyone is so very caring. The office staff, housekeeping staff, maintenance staff, and food preparers and servers are always there to help! She eats in the dining room every day and loves the food! She goes to the hair salon weekly and always gets many compliments. There are even caregivers we can hire if she needs help with laundry or showering. She never wants to move and plans to live out the rest of her days there! I want to thank everyone for being so kind and caring to our Mom! You are the best!!!

My mom researched and chose Chaparral Winds as her retirement home 11 years ago. She says daily how lucky she is to have found such a wonderful home. It isn't just a location, Chaparral Winds has a culture. They promote from within and many staff have been there as long as she has. Whether it is Karen in housekeeping, Arthur in maintenance, Kevelyn in activities, Kathy at the front desk or Cathy in the front office, they all treat my mom like she is their favorite Auntie. I am truly grateful to our extended Chaparral family who watch over her when we can't be there.

My beautiful wife gabby diaz is an amazing hard worker & loyal housekeeper. At chaparral winds independent living. She makes sure that she keeps the residence home clean and up-to-date with satisfaction where home owners feel there needs & desire fulfilled with safety ..and a great appreciation to Mariana Felix for the best waffle Wednesdays... Thank u gabby diaz & Mariana felix....

Chaparral Winds independent living and the people who work there absolutely all five star plus I’ve been here for 10 years and they just get better .Also the activities are awesome that they have here and the outings are spectacular. And I would like to add that Kathi child or assistant Director is absolutely marvelous she knows all the residents and fixes little problems before they become big problems efficient and lovely I’m also going to add about Karin and housekeeping and I’m not sure and for maintenance and wells and Robert for transportation because they are all wonderful you should give everybody a raise and make sure you keep them.

The fact the food is so delicious I made up my mind to live here. Chef Ashley is a fantastic chef and is one of reasons I moved here. I had experienced two other retirement communities prior that moving here, this community has made this part of my life a pleasure .

I want to give a big shout out to the housekeeping team for keeping a very clean environment for residents and staff. Gabby Diaz is a Hard worker she goes above and beyond for residents.Also a Huge shout out to Mariana Felix for waffle Wednesday and all you do in the kitchen delicious pastries you are so creative..

We moved in just two weeks ago and we are very happy. The staff and the residents here are very friendly. The chef, Ashley, is great! We have delicious meals every day.

Marli Osterloh in Memory Support is a very nice person to be around and is very caring. She’s always on time for work. And cares a lot about the residents

We are younger and have been here 7weeks and knew from day 1 that this was meant for us. The food is great and all kinds of activities. Not to mention the Staff is wonderful. Best decision we have made.
