*HONEST REVIEW OF MY EXPERIENCE*
I wanted to share my experience so others know what to look for.
Before my appointment, I had a recent photo of my teeth on my phone. When I compared it to the “before” photo taken in-office, the in-office photo appeared noticeably more yellow than my actual teeth. Even normally clear areas (like saliva between teeth) had an identical yellow tint, which didn’t match the real image I had.
Afterward, I saw my photos posted online in a different form altogether. The “before” image posted publicly looked even more edited than the one shown during my appointment, with darker tones and more contrast. That made me uncomfortable because it didn’t accurately represent my real results.
When I asked about the differences, I was told the business uses an app and a template to create their before/after photos, which can alter lighting and color. That explanation lined up with what I was seeing…multiple versions of the same photo with different tones.
Because of those inconsistencies, I asked that my photos be removed, and they were taken down. While the service itself was completed, the way the images were captured and edited felt misleading to me, and I personally would not return. I recommend that future clients pay close attention to how before/after photos are created and make sure the images accurately represent their actual results.
This is simply my personal experience, and I hope it helps others make an informed decision.
