Chandler Screen and Awning

We had this shade installed in March, and we love it. Stephen came out and gave us a bid the same day we called. We visited their showroom the next day to learn about the features and choose fabric. It was installed within 3 weeks! The sunshade is high quality, has an auto-shut sensor for wind. The service from bid to install was excellent. It’s a family run business, and the owners were there at install. Great people, great product and service. We’ll use them again without question.

They don't want your business. I scheduled a quote with Chandler Screen & Awning through their website on May 2nd for a quote in June, received a call from Jazmyn on May 5th to reschedule the quote for May 29th. Jazmyn said there would be a window between 7 am and noon when someone would come out and to be sure I answered the door. I subsequently received 2 separate text messages requesting I confirm my appointment today from 9 am to 10 am. Yesterday I got a call confirming my appointment for today, again saying the window would be from 7 am to noon. All of this is to say it seemed like Chandler Screen & Awning was committed to showing up and giving me a quote for sun shade screens. Nope. I called at 10 am to confirm they were still coming, I was told they were and to make sure (again) that I answered the door or the person would leave. My front door is directly behind me, I've included a picture. My doorbell rang once, it was the mailman. I called again at noon because no one came and was told "it's noted here someone came at 10:41 am but you didn't answer the door so they left, we'll have to reschedule your appointment." No, actually no one came because I haven't left this spot all morning. I guess it's easier to lie than to care about getting new customers. It's easier to schedule a 5 hour window for the company but only a 5 minute window for the customer, and then not even bother to show up. I'm trying to support local, keep my money in the community, but obviously this isn't the business to support. If you want sun shade screens I'd recommend you go elsewhere, any other company would probably treat you better. Don't waste 5 hours of your life waiting for Chandler Screen & Awning, they don't show up.

My wife and I had been searching for a shade for our pool area. After several phone calls around the valley the responses were 6-12 weeks to get an appointment and no product or install available. My wife spoke with Steven, and he was at our home within a day and covered the product in detail. We went with a 24-foot wide 12-foot-deep awning. Their electrician was out early to put in a new box and the install team was there the day the shade was received. The whole crew came out including Steven who had promised he would be there during our sales meeting. The shade went up in no time and had a great discussion with the entire team about how to use and care. We had previously visited the showroom, so we had a good idea of what to expect but always good to cover it all. We are so excited and can use the pool during the hot days in AZ! The pool water is even cooler and a lot more refreshing that that hot mid summer AZ hot tea feel. Everyone was great to work with and no hassles, pushy sales and they met all their promises. Would highly recommend for your awning needs!

We had several awnings done for our home and one of them ripped from exposure to sun, rain, etc. after 14 years. The business had been bought by Chandler Shade Systems and we were so pleased with the company, the awning looks wonderful and the customer service is next to none.
