I can totally recommend Dr Peter at Centennial Park Vet Hospital. Last year I rescued 12yr old Mate when my mother went into care. We drove him home all the way from Kangaroo Island knowing he needed all his vaccinations and dental care. We discovered Dr Peter had just taken over the practice. He thoroughly checked Mate over with care and skill. Identified a couple of problems, tested a couple of lipomas to ensure they weren't cancerous, started the vaccinations, and booked Mate in for a very much needed dental. The surgery was a success and Dr. Peter was able to save many teeth so little Mate can still chew bones. Within weeks he was a much happier and active dog and his breath no longer stank. The surgery included a follow up appointment and a very good price compared to other vet hospitals. Little Mate loved going to the dog beach for the first time since the Island once his vaccinations were completed.

Best vet! Dr. Peter Rees, and veterinary nurse Carrie, always provide top notch care for our beloved senior (18yo) cat Sheeba. Listens carefully to our concerns and explain options and solutions well, which always makes us feel that Sheeba is in safe hands. So grateful for the personal care and attention, would highly recommend!

Dr. Peter was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was quite anxious about bringing my cat Louie in for a dental extraction, but Peter immediately put me at ease. He was personable, knowledgeable, and explained everything so clearly that I felt completely comfortable with the process. He took such great care of Louie, who, to my surprise, bounced back within 12 hours - eating normally and doing his usual zoomies. Peter walked me through Louie’s dental issues with so much care and clarity, and it was clear he genuinely prioritises the wellbeing of every animal that walks through the door. Peter came to visit our aging (12) delightful ginger Nellie - we had a chat on the phone about her symptoms - his visit confirmed his suspected diagnosis osteoporosis and he came with the medication which eased her issues very swiftly - she is moving again! What a joy and a privilege to be the guardian and friend of one of Dr. Peter’s lucky patients! I’ve known Dr. Peter for about a year now and I am absolutely certain that he is the most caring and the most dedicated to his patients doctor. His clinic, Centennial Park Veterinary Hospital, is designed and furnished to create a friendly and relaxing environment where animals can feel comfortable and calm. For a very short time Dr. Peter looked after my former dog, late Django. He went above and beyond to make Django’s last weeks comfortable and pain-free. He arranged time for me and my friends, who loved Django, to have some time with him before it was his moment to cross the Rainbow Bridge and assured that this journey was the most serene and peaceful. Dr. Peter’s love for animals, attention to detail, and his ability to make accurate diagnosis never fail to astonish me. Now Dr. Peter is looking after my new baby, Haku, who is still quite young and full of surprises. Dr. Peter embraced him with absolute love and extraordinary care and now Haku unconditionally loves Dr. Peter as well. I recommend Dr. Peter to all my friends. All those who took their pets to him, are very grateful for my endorsement of Dr. Peter’s approach and now they are letting their friends know about him. One of my friends, who has two dogs, told me recently that her dogs, who always hated going to the vets, love going to Dr. Peter’s practice. Dr Peter is the most approachable, down to earth and calm vet you will encounter. He helped us with our very distressed and scared cat. He had finished work for the day - on a Saturday however still went above and beyond to come to our house and help treat our boy Rexy with kindess, compassion and patience. Could not recommend Dr Peter more highly and would not hesitate to recommend his clinic to anyone looking for the most unreal service for their fur baby. Dr Peter and his team are fantastic. They always take such great care of our cat, and it’s so clear that their focus is truly on the animals’ wellbeing. It’s rare to find a vet practice with such genuine compassion and professionalism.
