Cellar Dweller
About
Tulsa's only still-standing speakeasy!! Very chill, dimly lit, basement bar. This baby was established in 1968 as the Cellar Dweller, but has been a working bar since the '20's! There is no other bar in Tulsa like this... it is definitely one-of-a-kind!! Go check it out

They only have bagged snacks…so the food rating really doesn’t count. But the atmosphere is super cool…it’s literally in a cave/basement/cellar. Every bartender I’ve met has been awesome. Max makes a great Long Island Iced Tea. 10/10

This is a fun bar to come get a drink, hang out for a bit, and then head home. It is eclectic and just a neat Tulsa feature.

What a disappointment, apparently Covid took all good servers now we’re left with millennials who think they deserve 5 star tips while they’re hanging out with their dog and best friends who are slurring speech by 5:30 PM. at the bar..

Just happened to stumble across this neat dive bar , don’t let the small stairs and faint glow of the red lighting turn you away. Very friendly atmosphere with a good selection of drinks that will quench your thirst .

We visited on a Saturday evening. This place was neat with its red lights and eclectic decor. A cozy and intimate feeling bar. I would recommend if you are visiting Tulsa you try here.

A rare gem to behold. I love places like this because speakeasy's are awesome but this particular one has so much personality to it. We stumbled in late at night looking for a few rounds of beer after a long day of flying. Dear God did we find that and more crazy DJs blasting 80s hits and good cheap booze. We all definitely stuck out like sore thumbs but that didn't matter at all. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating cannot wait to come visit again next month! Update: first visit since covid happened and everything was just as awesome as I remembered it. Great bartender and crowd there on Christmas eve of all nights! Can't wait to come back!

If you are interested in the prohibition era you will really love this bar. Tucked away in the basement of an office / apartment complex you'll find find this hidden bar. Down down a steep cement staircase & behind a glass door you'll find red lighting, velvet drapery, & Intimate cozy seating for all group sizes. My beautiful bartender made a delicious cosmopolitan and vodka cranberry.

I have been to dive bars on three continents. This one is something special. Cozy basement space lit with red and amber lights, a few blocks behind the Tulsa County Courthouse, next to a 24 hour bail bondsman. Friendly bartender, cheap drinks with some decent middle shelf whiskies and a good range of beers. Broad spectrum of working class folks of all ages and races, and (somewhat rare for Tulsa dive bars), it's non-smoking. Add in the best house / chillout Spotify playlist I've heard in a long time, and I will most likely raise my double Tullamore (neat, in a rocks glass) in salute, and leave a favorable, if boozy, 5 star review.

The bartender tonight on Saturday was the most rude girl I have ever met I had a 4$ tab for one beer tipped 1$ because I felt like she didn’t deserve more she was lucky she got that. She sent her friend outside to scream at us and threaten us do not go to this bar I’m beyond mad. Theres many other places to have a good time in downtown Tulsa and the cellar dweller is not one of them
