James is a very knowledgeable professional. His experience and pride in his workmanship shows in the completed project. James replaced an aging deck off of my walkout that is 12 ft in the air and approx 1000 sq ft with a partial covered roof area. He suggested how to realign the stairs to make the access easier. The end results was amazing. It is the little things that James does that really show in our deck. We get so many complements when people come over I would highly recommend James again to anyone.

We chose Cedar Ridge to build our second story deck when they were the only company willing to provide an itemized quote. There were a few details that we were undecided on, and knowing the cost of each component made it much easier to decide. James was always open to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each option, and was accommodating, patient and professional. He was honest, even when it was something we didn't want to hear, and the pricing was fair, even when we changed our minds a few times in the middle of the project. As a handyman, there is nothing worse than paying someone to do a job that I could have done better myself, but the results exceeded my expectations. Even the inspector was impressed with his work.

James was fantastic to work with. He met with my wife and me to understand whet we were looking for. He proceeded to get drawings completed and took care of all permits required. Once approved and ready, he proceeded to work on the front porch/deck and completed it quickly and beyond our expectations. The work was top notch quality and we are completely satisfied with the results. I would not hesitate to contact Cedar Ridge again for any other projects and certainly would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of a deck, porch, etc.

James tore down our old deck and laundry porch, and rebuilt them from the ground up. We were very impressed with his skill, attention to detail, and prompt, courteous service. The finished products exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend him to anyone.

We recently had James install a composite deck for us and we are extremely happy with the finished product and really with the whole experience from start to finish. James is a very hard worker who puts in long days to get the project completed. His construction skill and woodworking/mitre skills are excellent. He maintained regular communication with us throughout the whole project and was always very easy to get a hold of if we had any questions regarding wood delivery etc. He worked tirelessly to get our deck completed ahead of schedule! His quote was very competitive and we will definitely hire him again for a gate/fence that we will be needing in the future. Very pleased with the beautiful new deck built for us by James! He was always responsive both in a timely and attentive way, and worked with us to get the best result for our back yard, as we planned and designed some parts on the fly.
