The food is fantastic! So full of flavor and fresh! We had the octopus appetizer and it was flavorful and tender. The chimichurri melded the flavors very well. We had the mixta paella and it was spot on! We e been to Valencia Spain and this is comparable! The service is great as well! Friendly and attentive! Coming back when we’re back in town!

We came here during our stay in the desert and we loved it. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. The warm bread with pesto is wonderful, and we both had the paella which was really good. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves Mediterranean/Spanish cuisine!

I recently dined at Catalán, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the pulpo con patatas, which was cooked to perfection. The drinks were delightful, and the service was truly out of this world—warm and attentive from start to finish. The owners were always present, ensuring everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place!

The wife and I had a great experience on our date night at Catalan. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. That was the first time we had eaten mediterranean food. We are looking forward to returning and would recommend anyone give Catalan a try. For dessert, I highly recommend the custard! Best i ever had!

We were so excited to try Catalan for it's Paella and other Mediterranean dishes listed in the menu. The warm bread with a bright pesto was delicious and as a started we ordered the marinated olives that were excellent. Unfortunately the Paella Valenciana (seafood) was a major and expensive disappointment, a bland pile of mushy rice with not a single hint or note of Saffron along with overcooked shrimps. The scallops over a pureed butternut squash and some sort of corn concoction was also lacking flavour. The service was on point, attentive.

Came for restaurant week and will be back for sure. Great atmosphere, more than friendly service and very good food. The mixed paella was a generous serving of goodness. The scallops were cooked to perfection and their Catalon Caramel cream custard is heaven on earth.

I was really excited to try Catalan and sample the paella. The service was solid and the staff was very attentive. The starters were good, but limited which for a Spanish restaurant was disappointing they don't have some of the traditional Spanish Tapas on the menu. The biggest disappointment was the paella itself. I would not order it again. I don't feel like this was cooked to order, because it's cooked in a separate pan and then scooped out into the serving pan. There was no bomba rice, something that is highly promoted in the menu. The flavors were not built and blended like other paella I've had in many restaurants from Spain across the US.

We visited this restaurant in January 2025. We were left with the impression that it was new ownership, and that they had very recently opened under this new ownership. Parking was very easy, and we didn't have any trouble getting seated right away. We were greeted at the door by one of the owners who welcomed us and explained the menu. We ordered tapas and cocktails and they were all very good. There are a couple of quirks about the restaurant. For starters, if you eat in the bar, all of the tapas are less expensive which doesn't make any sense given it. They all come from the same kitchen and are the same size. I could understand having a separate bar menu with smaller portions or different appetizers, but just charging a different price to sit in another room seemed strange. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. The one other quirk worth mentioning is that we requested outdoor seating and they led us into a room that appeared to us to actually be indoors, albeit with a very tall ceiling. It was a chilly evening so all of the windows were closed. It's possible that when all the windows are open, it feels more like patio. Overall, we would go back as the food was good. Just worth noting that there's still a few kinks to work out under the new ownership.

This was a great spot in the desert. The food was very delicious and really focused on layers of flavors. I also ordered the Mediterranean wedge which isn’t pictured that had a great play on a traditional wedge salad. The service was solid and the staff were kind. Next time I’m in town I will definitely make another visit.

My wife had the Salmon and my daughter had the Paella. Salmon was spot on, never had Paella before, but I thought it was mushy. I had the rack of lamb and it's was great. The restaraunt is ran by a family and we happened to have the daughter wait on us, who helps out at the family restaraunt, when she's not in school. It's a good story, love supporting this type of business.
